This exhibition emphasises the multiplicity of exchanges, conventions, trends and shifts that have given rise to today’s graffiti movement.
From graff to dripping by way of video, installation art, sculpture, drawing and performance art, thirty artists have each picked a medium to create a work felt to be a continuation of their activity on the streets.
Introducing these deterritorialised activities, the galerie du jour will spend a month as an alternative territory that thrusts us deep into the vitality and originality of a movement which never ceases to reinvent itself.

To mark the occasion, the galerie du jour and Wasted Talent are republishing “The faith of graffiti” by Norman Mailer ( bilingual edition french/english) with photographs by Jon Naar, a remarkable work first published in 1974.
