The legendary independent record store in London Rough Trade Shop, created in 1976 in Portobello Road by Geoff Travis, makes its return to France after a long absence. For one month, the first floor of the womens’ boutique at 6 rue du Jour will welcome Rough Trade vendors, vinyls, dj sets and other surprises! … that you will not find anywhere else.
This return coincides with the " record store day ", created in 2007 by Chris Brown, it is the day of the year when independent record shops and record labels collaborate to celebrate the art of music by releasing new, reissued, limited and unreleased items. Thanks to the Calif and in partnership with Ministere de la culture, Record Store Day will take place for the first time in France, which up until now, has only existed in English speaking countries.
Who else but agnès b. would welcome them and create collector striped t-shirt, made in France, and sold in France in all the agnès b. shops and in England at Rough Trade shop from April 16th.
