n°41 - Hommage à Raymond Hains

Raymond Hains (Saint Brieuc, France 1929
- Paris 2005) belonged to the New Realist
Movement with César, Arman, Tinguely, Villéglé
and Yves Klein. Hains’ work, from his torn posters
(1949) and palisades to his photographic works
and Macintoshages, developed through the found
object and construction.
His use of logos and proper names and his
invention of word plays opened up the possibility
for endless association.

In 2001, an issue of point d’ironie had been
created for us by Raymond Hains.Today, on the
occasion of his death anniversary, we wanted to
dedicate an issue for him. It is conceived such as a
polyphonic tribute, composed of Raymond Hains’
friends or admirers sent postcards (sized like
Raymond do loved).


Practical guide

For a period of 10 days after you receive your parcel, will pay for the cost of returning any articles you do not wish to keep (offer valid only for packages posted in Metropolitan France).
